ANSWER is a multidisciplinary DJ/Producer Duo, a collaborative effort of Arjun Nair & Nishanth Naidu, forged in the dance music capital of the Indian subcontinent - Bangalore.
Their ability to build an inseparable connection with the audience within minutes of their performance, sets them apart from their peers & speaks of their prowess as skilled DJs. ‘ANSWER’ focuses on blurring the lines between different genres in Electronic music & introducing forward thinking music with a multi-dimensional Audio-Visual experience. Their sound ranges from House & techno to breaks & electronica, steering away from the trends and focusing more on introducing their audiences to cutting edge sounds each time. Right from the early days as club room DJs who prefer playing longer hours & more intimate sets, their style of working up a vibe on the dance-floor is unparalleled & has pushed them to play over 1000+ shows in the span of the last 10 years across different cities & countries like India, Amsterdam, China, Middle East and Philippines. This has seen the pair build up a formidable relationship with audiences globally.
ANSWER released their superbly crafted single ‘Enigma’ on acclaimed UK duo Third Party's ‘Release Deep’ label - a home for the deeper side of progressive productions, which climbed all the way to #11 on the Beatport Progressive House Charts, showcasing the powerful production prowess of the India-born producers. They also have a release on Class Action Records as well as independent releases.
ANSWER's ever evolving sounds have earned them a cult following across several cities in India resulting in an incredibly hectic touring schedule despite being independent artists. One can only expect to be surprised by what's next from this dynamic duo.
Adding to their growth they have shared the stage with over 70+ notable names from the industry & played for top brands such as F1 Grand Prix, Circus Festival, Pacha Ibiza on Tour, ADE, Fashion TV, Sunburn Festival, Vh1 Supersonic and more. ANSWER has had an incredible season opening for the likes of Boris Brejcha, Carl Cox, Camelphat & John Digweed, all in the span of 6 months!
We've had an incredible season & the last 6 months have been nothing short of spectacular. Over 60+ shows across 15 cities through club shows, festivals, arena shows & what not, the growth just feels phenomenal.
Out of all the shows, the one that takes the cherry on the cake has to be opening for one of our greatest inspirations, the one & only Carl Cox.
Handing over the decks to CARL COX, the greatest DJ of all time, is an honour that will be etched in our hearts forever. A monumental moment in our career.
Everything from the production, to the stage design and the atmosphere at Marbela Beach was absolutely electric. We feel fortunate to have experienced it in the flesh. Humbled by all the love we received from ravers that flew down from across the country.
Another dream come true moment has to be opening for the King of Hitech Minimal Techno - Boris Brejcha, easily one of the most awaited artists to tour India recently. A sea of over 10,000 ravers & that electric atmosphere is something that cannot be described in words.
A perfect evening of sonic mastery, where our passion transformed into an immersive experience that’ll be etched in our hearts forever. By far the largest underground electronic music gathering we’ve been a part of, leaving an indelible mark on the ever-growing landscape of electronic music in the country!
Not to forget we completed 10 years as ANSWER in February 2023 & the celebrations couldn't have gotten any bigger than this. We toured with for one of the most influential Duo's in the electronic music scene - CAMELPHAT, across shows in Goa & Bangalore. All of this in the first half of this year, just cannot wait to see what the rest of the year holds for ANSWER.
